1. What is Truedoit?

Truedoit is a simple, clean productivity tool designed for freelancers to manage tasks, clients, and invoices in one place—without the clutter of big project management apps.


2. Who is Truedoit for?

Truedoit is built for:

3. Is Truedoit free to use?

Yes! At launch, Truedoit is 100% free.
A Pro plan with extra features (PDF invoices, reports, automation) will be added later.

Unlike heavy tools like Notion or Trello, Truedoit is built only for freelancers, offering:

6. Can I create invoices from completed tasks?

Yes! You can select completed tasks for a client and export them as a simple PDF invoice.

7. Does Truedoit have time tracking?

Not yet.
Time Tracking will be part of Pro later.

8. Can I organize tasks by client?

Yes. Every client gets their own page with:

  • Active tasks

  • Completed tasks

  • Invoice-ready tasks

9. Does Truedoit support recurring tasks?

Yes, you can set tasks to repeat daily, weekly, or monthly.

10. Is there a mobile app?

Currently no native app.
But Truedoit works perfectly on mobile browsers and can be added as a PWA (install-like app).

11. How do I sign up?

Just log in using Google Login.
No password required.

12. Can I delete my account?

Yes. You can request deletion anytime at:

13. What happens to my data if I delete my account?

All your data—tasks, clients, and invoices—will be deleted permanently from the database within 48 hours.

14. Is my data secure?

Yes. Your data is stored securely using:

  • Encrypted database (MySQL + MongoDB)

  • Secure Google OAuth login

  • No passwords stored on our servers

15. Do you share my data with anyone?

No. Truedoit never sells or shares user data with third-parties.

16. Where is my data stored?

Data is stored on secure cloud servers in India.

17. Do you track or read my tasks?

No. We only store the content you create—never analyze or use it for ads.

18. Will Truedoit always stay free?

A free plan will always be available.
Pro will be optional.

19. What will the future Pro plan include?

22. Can I download all tasks and clients?

Yes, from the Reports page → Export All Data.

23. Can I customize the invoice?

Basic customization only for MVP.
Full customization comes in Pro.

24. I can’t log in — what should I do?

Try these steps:

  1. Check internet connection

  2. Use “Sign in with Google”

  3. Clear cookies & try again

  4. Contact support if still not working

25. My tasks are not syncing.

Refresh your browser.
If still not updating, reach out to support.

26. My PDF invoice is not downloading.

Try again or switch browser (Chrome recommended).
If issue continues → contact support.

27. What emails does Truedoit send?

  • Welcome email

  • Daily task reminders

  • Due & overdue task alerts

  • Inactivity reminders (“Haven’t seen you in a while…”)

28. Can I turn off email notifications?

Soon you will be able to control email settings (coming update).

29. Is this tool helpful for YouTubers, designers, editors, etc.?

Yes! Truedoit is built for any independent worker handling:

  • Projects

  • Clients

  • Deadlines

  • Invoices

30. Can I share client or task data with someone?

Sharing is coming soon (Pro feature).
Currently, data is private to your account.

31. Can multiple people use the same account?

Not recommended.
Each freelancer should use their own login.
